PROJECT CONCEPT
Velana International Airport is one of the most important transportation hubs in the Maldives, supporting large-scale aviation, tourism, and infrastructure operations across the region. For this project, we carried out the manufacturing, supply, and installation of high-quality GRP and FRP underground tanks designed to meet the demanding operational requirements of the airport environment. The project was executed with a strong focus on durability, structural reliability, and long-term performance.
As part of the scope of work, we supplied and installed FRP and GRP fire fighting tanks, storage water tanks, and potable water tanks for the Civil Defence system. These tanks were manufactured using advanced composite materials that provide excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, lightweight performance, and long service life. The use of FRP and GRP materials ensured reliable storage solutions capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions, moisture exposure, and continuous operational use.
The project further demonstrated our expertise in delivering customized composite tank solutions for airport utility and civil defence applications. All tanks were engineered and fabricated to meet strict quality and safety standards while ensuring efficient installation and low maintenance requirements. Through precise manufacturing techniques and professional execution, the project successfully delivered durable and high-performance water storage systems suitable for continuous operational use at Velana International Airport.
